Project Overview: The DNA sermon series was designed to explore themes of renewal and personal transformation. During a discovery meeting with the lead pastor, I captured his vision for the series, emphasizing how individuals could find their unique place within the community and their faith journey. From this conversation, I presented title DNA, symbolizing a deeper connection to purpose and identity.
Creative Process: I developed the central concept by integrating the visual texture of a DNA sequence into the design. Working closely with the designer, we created multiple versions that incorporated this texture while maintaining visual flexibility for various applications, including print, digital, and on-stage elements.
To bring the series to life, I also Directed the production of a promotional video. Collaborating with a talented crew, we utilized an environmental wall and projection mapping to overlay animated DNA sequences onto the talent. This approach visually tied the message of renewal to the series’ core identity, creating a compelling and immersive experience.
Execution: The DNA series was rolled out across multiple platforms, including stage design, social media, and video content. The promotional video became a key driver for engagement, setting the tone for the series and sparking interest among the congregation.
Results & Impact: The DNA sermon series was well received, with attendees praising the visuals and messaging. It fostered deeper connections, boosting both in-person attendance and online viewership. The series successfully resonated with individuals, helping them relate the message to their personal journeys.
